Description

SubZero Seven TPT-168 10 g — Thermal Putty plasticine thermal pad with a thermal conductivity of 16.8 W/(m·K). The material is designed to replace soft thermal pads on VRAM, VRM, MOSFET, power chips of video cards, laptops, game consoles and other electronics.
Plastic thermal interface for servicing cooling systems where there is a gap between the component and the radiator. 10 g packaging – for one laptop or video card.
Description:
SubZero Seven TPT-168 is a plastic liquid thermal pad from the Thermal Interface Materials class. The material fills the irregularities and gaps between the radiator and the cooled elements, making it suitable for servicing video memory, power circuits, and other components with incomplete contact.
Unlike sheet thermal pads, plasticine thermal pads do not require precise thickness selection. The required amount of material is applied to the component, after which the heatsink presses the layer and forms a working thermal contact.
Important: This is not a regular thermal paste to apply directly to the CPU or GPU die. The material is used on elements with a gap between the component and the heatsink: VRAM, VRM, MOSFET, power chips, and other cooling components.
Where is it used?
- VRAM video memory on video cards;
- VRM, MOSFET and power supply circuits;
- gaming laptops, RTX graphics cards, PS5, PS4 Pro and Xbox;
- motherboards, mini-PCs, power supplies and other electronics.
Application to VRAM, VRM and power elements
Before application, remove the old thermal interface and clean the surface. Apply the material in small portions to the cooled element, without spreading it too thinly. After installing the radiator, the layer will be distributed under pressure.
Use a spatula to carefully distribute the material, and heat guns to avoid contaminating the surface and protect your hands when working with the thermal interface.
