The nVIDIA Quadro FX5800 4 GB GDDR3 PCIe SDI I/O Graphics Display Card from Cubix is a professional high-capacity video graphics card. Boasting a vast 4.0 GB of GDDR3 memory, the card features a maximum digital resolution of up to 2560 x 1600. It delivers superior performance across a wide range of broadcast, video and film pre- and post-production workflow applications requiring the acquisition, processing and delivery of high-resolution video – with low system latency. Multi-stream uncompressed video streams right to the GPU’s memory for advanced effects processing and an integrated graphics-to-video solution enabling 2D or 3D effects to be composited in real-time with 2K, HD and SD video.

The Quadro FX 5800 unified architecture GPU allocates resources for optimal performance, while the Quadro SDI Capture card delivers the industry’s first fully integrated GPU-based solution for SD-, HD-, and 3G-SDI video capture, in real-time, right to GPU memory, and supports all SMPTE standard formats. The advanced graphics APIs OpenGL 4.1, DirectX 11 and Shader Model 5.0 are all supported by the FX 5800, which is compatible with Windows 7, Vista, XP SP3 or Linux operating systems. The graphics card works in Cubix’s GPU Xpander system.
